Covid-19 Updates and Policies For Skylink Canada

We are monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely and will continue to provide information and assistance to travel advisors as we receive information from airlines. We understand the considerable business challenges you are facing and are working hard to help. We have teams working around the clock responding to customers and processing
refunds.

We are also making waiver information available on our site. When your login to SkyLink Canada you can check the waiver status for each airline by clicking the COVID-19 updates (screenshot below).

We thank you in advance for your patience and ask that you first check the airline website for the latest information regarding cancelled flights and refund policies, rules are changing almost daily and in most cases the airline websites are the best place to find the most accurate and updated information. We’ve provided website links for the major airlines below. Please keep in mind:

  • Many airlines are not offering refunds for impacted flights but instead are providing rebooking options for future travel, often in the form of future travel credits.
  • Airlines guidance and policies are changing daily, sometimes hourly
  • For non-impacted routes, the same fare rules may apply, and waivers may not be granted by the airlines
  • Please remember, we are all in this together as an industry, these are trying times for all of us and only together will we get through this

Most importantly, if travelers are not due to travel within the next two months, we recommend that you wait before contacting us to ensure we have the latest policy information for their travelers at time of travel. Again, policies are changing daily, a flight that is not currently impacted may be impacted in the future and consequently easier to change.
